A New Spin on an Old Tradition
History...
The new concept jacket has arrived!
In winter 2004 a few Carleton Engineering students got together and decided to design a new leather jacket. The design had to establish a united Carleton Engineering community of students graduates and faculty. Noticing that the existing jackets were undesirable, they decided that the new jacket would be entirely student designed.
Unfortunately, the winter term ended too soon to create the jackets for the next year.
Fall 2004: Hit the ground running.
The original design remained fresh, the next step was to get the prototype made. We also wanted to make sure that the Faculty and Alumni Associations knew what we had planned. After meetings of red tape and a few minor changes (for the better!) in the heat of exams, the first jacket arrived. The next step belongs to you.
Winter 2005: The first order arrives!
